Intervieww YPPB

i was shocked to get this email one day after the result was out.  i registered for it yet, i took it without much care and  i left it for two days. one fine day, i looked back why am i getting this email. by then, i just remembered that i signed up for it. so i just kept scrolling it and i had to send a confirmation that i was going for the assessment. assessment? yes. mathematics and english. i guess we need because undeniably the most important subjects for this course. since, when i sign up i chose INTEC as the place for me to study. there were three options. the other two was SUNWAY, a private university out in the capital. i think those are too mainstream? hahaha anyway, all of this place was kind of hard to reach since it's in the near the capital.

The urge for me to go for this is because i was as always searching for my scholarship so i could further my study. so, this one looks like it fits the best. however, its kind hard for me to think that my dad would eventually stop working it will burden for him if i want to further my study outside Malaysia. still, he told me to keep on going for it.

i dont know what else to prepare myself with by just reading more about accounting and how or what is ACCA until i know the meaning by heart. i did some research and found out this must be the last wave for this year that the YPB or Yayasan Peneraju Bumiputera offer this scholarship until the next wave which we dont know when. Moreover, i spent most of my time in front of my laptop just to find out what might the interview talks about but mostly it is said that the math&bi assessment are before the interview but mine ? the staff said that the participants will get an email if we are shortlisted and i am not sure when is that anymore ~ huhu

anyways, so i would like to talk about my day for the assessment?
I was the afternoon session which was suppose to start at 1 and i arrived one hour early which end up to 2 and a half of waiting because the assessment started at 2.30. my casualty was baju kurung. since, the place for the assessment was in the INTEC in Section 17, Shah Alam, my family overnight the day before at our new home :)

We left early in the morning so that we could  be punctual and arrive before the program started. Alhamdulillah i got to pray my Dhuha in the Shah Alam beautiful mosque, the Salahuddin Aziz Mosque (?) i dunno try to search xD (seriously i could not be a tour guide) and my family and i stopped at the restaurant called Restaurant Hartini and i want to brag about this to you that's here is the best place to eat if you arrive in Shah Alam for a vacay or whatsoever because the food? you couldnt even decide what to eat. it's scrumptious! i ate Nasi Kerabu 😍😍😍😍🍚🍗🍔🍱🍢🍥🍥🍥🍥

So, directly after that, we googled maps way to Section 17 where INTEC located. The assessment was held in the Faculty of Music. It was rhythmic while waiting for the assessment to start but it was not when it is.

While waiting for the assessment to begin in the Computer Lab, I waited along with another five girl on the second level.  Later, come this smarty dude, who were not bad with his looks bringing calculator, headphone, pencil box, and A4 envolope just like we all did. I remembered he stopped by me as asking about the assessment. All I did was blabbing about which Computer Lab are we gonna be sitting in and the staff said that they are going start after 1. I think i talk too much that he suddenly said "So?" and walked away. *so rude* okay whatever.

2.30 pm we finally got to be in. The door to the computer lab was open. A guidance name Ms. Wafa ( she so pwetty, MashaAllah) apologized for the delay. We were asked to take a sit with the screen on computer. There were two rows which the computer face each other at the back. I sat at the end of the room before the last computer. Far from the screen but I dont mind because im sure there's not much of a talk to give. Next to me, sat a beautiful girl. I made some friends (yeay, im not a loner huhuhu) Her name was.... omg i forgot but she was from Gombak School. I'm not sure if it's Science School or those school like all the smarty pants go. She was soooo pretty maigaddddd. I'm glad that i dont have anyone next to me who looks for appearance :'D

Even though the room is almost full, there is still people kept on coming. There is about 20 people who took the assessment. I was kind of nervous because they look smart (so cliche but damn i have low-key confident) at first, Ms. Wafa introduced herself that she was from the MyPAC that we all answered we dont even know about the existence of it* which i believe i should be ashamed because im not aware of the body*

At first, we were asked to arrange our documents that we brought together with us by the list that were given. I was arranging it while looking at other people's result. lol badass. Anyway, when we stapled all of them together, we lined up and signed for our attendance.

The assessment was in google. It was creative way but i guess it's normal

At 3.25 we start for the English Assessment. It was given 20 minute for 25 questions. It was pretty much like the SPM questions where they give you multiply choice question. It was also Comprehension and Grammar. There is also a passage that you have to know what tense it uses so you know what to choose. really it was just the same as any other practice during your English class. I was preparing an essay xD but anyway, Alhamdulillah for that.

Next, was the Mathematics Assessment. It was 40 questions and it's a bit of challenge though. there is like a combination of basic maths and a single Additional Mathematics question which i manage to answer... but i dunno what's the correct answer so we gave it a try well ohkay. It was freezing in the room. There was about 5 girls who wore traditional cloth just like me. There was only two guys who sat for the assessment uall so this profession really suit for us maybe

About 4.30 we were done. Ms. Waffa inform us that if we get to the next stage, we will be getting an email. The girl next to me told me a bit about studying in INTEC. She said if we got it, it will be like a week or so after this. So it must be around April.

So, we went back home. Thank god. So i prayed my best for the good things 😃😄😉😇
